Everyone has a cultural identity, whether we find the impact salient or important in our every day lives varies for every individual. For example, immigrants, children of immigrant parents or children of mixed cultural backgrounds living in a multi-cultural society have the advantage of enjoying the world from many perspectives. However, there are difficulties such as reconciling values that are sometimes conflicting or understanding how our cultural heritage impacts our current psychological being.
